Kurset henvender sig til IT-professionelle, der skal administrere Windows Server 2016-netværk så sikkert som muligt. De arbejder typisk med netværk, der er konfigureret som Windows Server domæne-baserede miljøer med styret adgang til Internettet og cloud-services. Tidligt i kurset understreges vigtigheden af, at man agerer, som om der allerede er sket brud på netværkssikkerheden. Derefter lærer man, hvordan man beskytter administrative bemyndigelser og rettigheder for at sikre, at administratorer kun kan udføre dét, som de har behov for, når de har behov for det. Kurset går også i detaljer med, hvordan man kan:
formindske malware-trusler
identificere sikkerhedsproblemer vha. Auditing og Advanced Threat Analysis-funktionaliteten i Windows Server 2016
sikre sin virtualiseringsplatform
anvende nye implementeringsmuligheder som fx Nano server og containere til at fremme sikkerheden. På kurset gennemgås også, hvordan man bedre kan beskytte adgangen til filer vha. kryptering og dynamisk adgangskontrol, samt hvordan man kan forbedre sit netværks sikkerhed.
